From March 1–5, 2025, the entire Paradiplomacy Lab team participated in the 66th Annual Convention of the International Studies Association (ISA) in Chicago. This prestigious event brought together over 6,000 scholars from around the world.
Our team actively engaged in the convention by attending workshops and presenting results of our own current research on paradiplomacy in two dedicated panels:
- Developing Theory with Understudied Cases in Sub-State Diplomacy
- Resistance Paradiplomacy: Sub-State Actors in the Complex Dynamics of Global Politics
Additionally, our team participated in many other panels. These sessions provided a platform for exchanging ideas, discussing trends, and advancing theoretical and empirical perspectives on paradiplomacy.
